Diana Frances Spencer 1961-1997

Princess Diana was born on in July 1961 at Parkhouse near Sandringham Norkfolk. She was the third daughter in her family as she has two elder sisters and a younger brother (Jane, Sarah, and Charles.) Her father had been a royal equerry for both King George VI and the young Queen Elizabeth II.


Princess Diana grew up in a boarding school (West Heath Public School In Kent.) After school, she worked as a nanny, occasionally a cook, and then as an assistant at the Young England Kindergarten In Knightsbridge. She was friend of Prince Of The Wales (Prince Charles), press and television spreed rumors about their friendship but on February 24 1981bthe engagement became official. The Prince was thirteen years older than Diana. When the journalists asked if they love eachother they both answered "yes" and Prince Charles added "whatever love means." The wedding took place at St.Pawls Cathedral on July 29th 1981 over 600,000 people lined the streets of London to cheer the couple. She has two sons first she gave birth to Prince William 1982 which is getting married soon and then to Prince Henry in 1984 she lost weight after giving birth and became more popular as a fashion figure. Immediately she began making public appearances. One of her first officials vists was to the funeral of Princess Grace of Monato. The princesses charity work increased their popularity with the public, she played an important role of people with AIDS. Her speeches were very touching as an example when Diana shaking hands with the AIDS patients proved to the public that social contacts with them were risk-free. In an official visit to India 1992, Diana sat alone outside Taj Mahal that great monument to love. It was a graphic public that the couple were formally together, they were in fact apart. August 31, 1997 Princess Diana dies in a car accident with Dodi Fayed and her driver in Paris tunnel and till this day it is a mystery to find out who killed them. September 6th 1997, hundreds of thousands of people from London came to Diana's funeral in Weastern Abby and about 60 people were watching it on the television, her body was taken to an island on Althop estate for burial.
