Tunisia

Jasmine Revolution
Autocratic President Zein Al Abiden Bin Ali was ruling Tunis for 23 years, Tunisian culture has a board middle class and there Islamic is moderate. Tunisians were suffering from government corruption, rising prices for food and products, and youth didn’t have chances to get a job and start their life. A young educated Tunisian protest from the small town of Sidi Bouzeid who gave the first message to the president of Tunis Zein Al Abiden Bin Ali that the demonstration time has begun. Who went on demonstration where youth, doctors, lawyers, and professors which they were highly educated. At first, President Bin Ali threatened them many times, police started to shoot them, many died and injured but even though they never gave up. They wanted to change the regime to democratic and they believed that they can do it and they didn’t go home. All countries were watching what was happening in Tunis and how strong they are. After the clashes between police and people were getting aggressive, the military found out that it is important to show up and to protect the people. Tunisians became very happy as they felt that they are very close to change the regime. They were right as President Zien Al Abiden had a very short speech to Tunisians and said, “I understood you, I understood each one “. Then he flew to Saudi Arabia,

I think these countries will be better in the future, and they have to rebuild their country, and they have to choose a good president who will help them to reach their aim. Tunisians got their freedom and hope and encourages other Arab countries to struggle for freedom, dignity and democracy.

The Unexpected Holiday

On 25th of January, 11, my sister, grandmother, aunt, and my mom went to Mall Of Arabia and shopped, we brought new bags for school my sister took it for school and my bag didn't fit for school books sadly but my sister had luck hers fitted. When we went back home we were so tired of all that walking. We opened the news to check how the demonstration went, we saw that there were protesters and policemen having clashes at that time we got scared of what was going on and we stayed watching the news. The next day we had school it was fun yet we were scared. On Thursday, it was nothing or we thought that were no problems, I was invited to my friends’ house for gathering I really had fun and enjoyed being with my old friends It was great day and I went back home, I watched news then I went to bed. On Friday the 28th, it was the worse day ever in my life, The demonstration was very tough as the police decided to deal very rough with the protesters, we didn’t go out all the family was worried of what is happening, I saw my mom and dad whispering and me and my sister was very scared. On Saturday I went to Diala's house and slept over at her house it was so much fun we did a lot, we went to the club, we played with the waves, and finally watched iCarly the movie it was amazing we didn't see the whole movie because it was long. On the other day I woke up at 7:00AM because Diala woke me up early and we completed the movie in the morning, Diala's father said: "were your clothes", we said: "ok", then we went down in the garden and played with the dogs, then we headed home, stayed because it was dangerous to go out and there was a curfew starts at 3:00PM. On Sunday, I heard that Farida was in my compound so I told her to come to my house I was bored so we played, then her mom came and stayed a little with my mom then they all went home. The fourth day I was so scared because the demonstration was much bigger!!! The same thing happened I told Farida to come again so we could play together. The day after that I went to Farida’s house I was happy, we made a surprise for our sister's and danced. Sometime after that my friend Alia made her birthday and it was fun we watched a scary movie and made a play. Then our tennis opened again after long time being closed, and I was excited to go and I played a lot. On another day we went to the Gizera club and played with my friends at the gymnastics room, we went to the pool and started to play, it was too crowded. I used to go to Palm Hills club a lot during this long holiday because it is safe place and very near to my house, and I meet all my friends there, it was good to see them. During the long holiday I used to read and to open my Gmail waiting for anything was posted to do it. Finally the last day I went to Dandy Mall with the family and I prepared all my stuff for new day at school.

Youth Revolution 25th Jan, 11

Egypt is a big, great country, but in the last five years it faced a lot of corruption from officials in the government and some business men, some youth and people has noticed this, but there was no way for them to express their displeasure. So they asked to carry out a peaceful demonstration, they got the permission to do it on 25th Jan, 11.
Youth were connected to each other through the internet social network sites such as FACEBOOK and TWITTER, they made pages to discuss their everyday troubles and working great deal of corruption in the country, they also invited other members of youth to join them on that day.
On Tuesday 25th Jan, 11, it was the Police Day Celebration, youth went out for their peaceful demonstration heading to Tahrir Square in the downtown, they were asking for their rights and all Egyptians rights in a very civilized way, they kept on saying, “People wants to overthrow the regime”. Police starts to feel that it’s risky to leave the protesters for more as other Egyptian people started to join them. Then, they started to deal with them by a very aggressive way, they started to throw on them gas bombs and to shoot them by rubber bullets, many were injured and few died.
On Friday 28th Jan, 11, protesters went back to Tahrir Square to finish what they have started, and to ask for their rights, they promised that they will not leave till Hosni Mubarak president of Egypt will leave first, and to chance the regime at all, and to turn to democracy country which is the Egyptian dream for long time. Police became more aggressive this time, and they shoot them with real bullets many died and many injured, but protesters they did not give up, then Hosni Mubarak the president of Egypt gave an order to the army to replace the police.
Protesters stayed in Tahrir Square for eighteen days till they did what they were asking for in a civilized peaceful demonstration. President Hosni Mubarak had stepped down on the 11th Feb, 11. (You can read it 11-2-11 both ways)

Sunday Reading: Junie.B. Jones First Grader Toothless Wonder

Junie.B.Jones is a young girl, she is the first one in her class to have a front loose tooth, her teacher gave her a silver star because she was the first one to have a loose tooth. May she is a student in the class is jealous of Junie.B. because Junie B. was the first, so Junie.B. went to recess and everyone was gathered around her, then she thought about her Uncle Lou, because he was toothless, she was scared that she would be toothless like him, and she said to her grandfather that she would not loose her tooth, but her grandfather drooped her tooth by accident and she was screaming, "I look like Uncle Lou", "I look like Uncle Lou". Then when her mother came Junie.B. told her that the tooth fairy is a fake and that she put money and eats the teeth and she wouldn't put her tooth. Then she and her friends figured out that the tooth fairy has a collection of the teeth that night she put her tooth under the pillow and said, "I will sleep with the lights opened", then the next day she found cash and showed it to her mother, she found her little brother has a tooth and said that the tooth fairy gives teeth to little brothers and sisters. She figured out that her brother took her tooth from the tooth fairy.

The End

BBC and CNN

CNN student news is better than BBC news, because CNN has more information, and it shows to us how things are happened\happening and how they are in the world and CNN has the shout out part, it helps us to think about the answer and then they talk about the story. The BBC news just write us an article and we just read it. That's why I think CNN is better than BBC news.
